Les tendances, m\u00eame si elles ont \u00e0 la base de tr\u00e8s bonnes et nobles motivations, ne sont souvent plus suivies et mises en \u0153uvre que de mani\u00e8re hypocrite pour la bonne image qu'elles renvoient. La culture de la honte se manifeste aussi de plus en plus largement dans le monde occidental. Nous devrions regarder cette situation en face. Le \"creation care\" est plus qu'une simple tendance. Il est temps que nous nous levions en tant que fils de Dieu et que nous commencions \u00e0 repr\u00e9senter le royaume de Dieu dans tous les sens du terme. Mon p\u00e8re est n\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et a \u00e9t\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 par cette p\u00e9riode de p\u00e9nurie. La n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 rend inventif, c'est bien connu. Mon p\u00e8re \u00e9tait physicien et tr\u00e8s inventif, surtout lorsqu'il s'agissait d'optimiser les choses. Depuis mon plus jeune \u00e2ge, je suis donc un professionnel de la d\u00e9brouille avec peu. Mon p\u00e8re \u00e9tait pass\u00e9 ma\u00eetre dans l'art d'\u00e9conomiser et d'\u00eatre un bon gestionnaire. Il \u00e9conomisait l'argent et les ressources partout o\u00f9 il le pouvait, r\u00e9duisait la consommation d'eau et d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, nous apprenait \u00e0 ne pas jeter inutilement de la nourriture et m'exhortait toujours avec amour \u00e0 utiliser de mani\u00e8re durable ce que Dieu m'avait donn\u00e9. Mon p\u00e8re a cr\u00e9\u00e9 des concepts pour notre vie de famille qui mettaient fortement l'accent sur l'utilisation consciente des ressources \u00e0 tous les niveaux. J'ai appris \u00e0 la maison de nombreux conseils tr\u00e8s utiles et une gestion consciente des biens qui nous ont \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9s. Dieu veut que nous soyons \u00e0 la fois ses administrateurs sur terre et ses cr\u00e9ateurs. Ce \"\u00e0 la fois\" s'appelle aussi la compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9. Deux qualit\u00e9s compl\u00e9mentaires vont de pair et ne sont pas causalement d\u00e9pendantes l'une de l'autre, mais ne forment qu'ensemble une unit\u00e9 (une m\u00e9daille - deux faces). L'un des c\u00f4t\u00e9s est le mandat administratif, la mission que Dieu a donn\u00e9e \u00e0 Adam de r\u00e9gner sur la terre (Gen\u00e8se 1, 28). L\u00e0 o\u00f9 l'homme vit, s\u00e8me et r\u00e9colte, travaille et agit, ce n'est pas l'homme lui-m\u00eame qui est le dernier souverain. Il s'agit de la domination de Dieu. Il s'agit de la cr\u00e9ation de Dieu. Dieu la confie \u00e0 l'homme, et il veut qu'elle continue. Nous ne sommes donc pas seulement des administrateurs de la cr\u00e9ation, mais avant tout des ambassadeurs du ciel, des repr\u00e9sentants de Dieu sur terre. Nous ne repr\u00e9sentons ni notre propre opinion, ni l'opinion des masses, nous repr\u00e9sentons les int\u00e9r\u00eats du ciel. Nous pouvons administrer ce que Dieu offre et fait cro\u00eetre dans sa force cr\u00e9atrice. Ce qui flotte dans la mer, ce que Dieu a mis dans la terre comme mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res, ce qu'il donne \u00e0 la vie comme \u00e9nergie dans le vent, la rivi\u00e8re ou le soleil - tout cela, Dieu nous l'a confi\u00e9, \u00e0 nous ses mandataires sur terre. C'est donc notre relation avec Dieu qui compte, alors que nous \"soumettons\" la terre et ses biens.
