arche+ Beliefs
Our core beliefs and values as an apostolic | prophetic ministry
Our Statement of Faith is a declaration of fundamental Christian truths and serves as a spiritual guide that shapes and governs our core beliefs and values as an apostolic ministry, but does not exhaust the scope of our beliefs. Scripture, as the inspired and infallible Word of God, is the ultimate source, supreme authority and reference for all doctrine.
Our beliefs are not meant to exclude those who do not necessarily affirm them. We remain approachable and open to discuss doctrinal issues on all fronts in the true Christian spirit of humility and brotherly love.
We as arche+ believe
- We believe that salvation is a total package that includes deliverance, healing, blessing and wholeness of body, mind, spirit and material well-being. It is the sovereign and benevolent will of God.
- We believe that salvation is a total package that includes deliverance, healing, blessing and wholeness of body, mind, spirit and material well-being. It is the sovereign and benevolent will of God.
- We believe in the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God to save... for God so loved that no other name is given, whoever believes will not be disappointed and will not come to condemnation.
- We believe in the existence of angels. We believe in life after death. We believe in heaven and hell.
- We believe that Satan was originally a good and obedient archangel created by God, but later rebelled against God. As a result, he was cast out of God's presence and took a host of angels with him. He established a counter-kingdom of darkness and evil on earth. He is a usurper of God's reign and the enemy of Christ and his church. He is currently condemned to destruction, but will only be judged on the Day of Judgement.
- We believe that worship is at the center of our life of faith. We gather to glorify, praise and bless God, to give him the worship he deserves; as we worship, the King of Kings is "enthroned" in our praise. In his presence we are blessed, liberated, transformed, healed and strengthened. His presence impels us to live a life of worship and service to Him and to serve Him every day.
- We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfill the purposes of God, who will awaken all people to judgment, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal separation to those who have refused to receive eternal life, and establish a new heaven and a new earth.
- We believe that when we turn to Jesus in faith, we receive forgiveness of our sins, the gift of eternal life and adoption as sons of God. This saving grace of God, working through the power of the Holy Spirit and a solid knowledge of Scripture, also empowers us to do what is pleasing in God's sight so that we may be progressively transformed into the image of Christ.
We are arche+ an apostolic ministry of believers who share a common passion to win souls, preach, teach and wrap the full package of the good news of Jesus Christ in word & power.
The kingdom of God obliges us to dedicate our lives to reaching the One.
We are arche+
We are called, anointed, empowered and commissioned as ambassadors of the Kingdom of God to proclaim the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ to all people. We want to be a platform for those who hunger and thirst for an authentic, convicting and life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that goes beyond what traditional norms, denominations and forms of worship currently offer.
We welcome diversity and respect different beliefs. We are open to questions and discussion about doctrines, the supernatural and modern teachings and want to teach in a constructive and uplifting way, building a common foundation for growth, maturity and unity in faith in Jesus Christ based on the principles of biblical truth.
We are Evangelical
We believe and preach the gospel, the "good news" of God's holy love, his plan of redemption for all mankind and his saving power as revealed and accomplished through the suffering, death, burial and resurrection of his Son Jesus Christ, as recorded in Holy Scripture. We believe that the gospel in its entirety answers the fundamental questions about the universe, the origin, purpose and eternal destiny of man.
We are Pentecostals
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who brings about salvation and imparts the graces necessary for a victorious life in Christ. We recognize the baptism with the Holy Spirit as indispensable for a Spirit-filled, Spirit-led walk with the Lord. We affirm the supernatural "gifts" of the Holy Spirit given to the Body of Christ from the apostolic age to the present day to equip, empower and edify the Body of Christ for the various tasks of internal and external ministry.
We believe in the Holy Trinity
We believe that there is one God who exists and is revealed in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - who love and glorify one another and who are fundamentally the same in their divine essence, attributes and nature, but who differ in their order and function. We believe that God, through the Son and the Holy Spirit, created the visible and invisible universe in his infinite wisdom and eternal power.
We believe in God the Father
We believe in the worship of all three distinct persons of the Godhead, both together and individually. The Father is the main person responsible for our salvation. In his infinite mercy and love, he planned and initiated our redemption, accomplished by, in and through the Son, and he gave the Holy Spirit for our rebirth, our adoption as children of God and the appropriation for us of the glorious, infinite, unsearchable, inestimable riches, benefits and blessings of redemption.
We believe in God the Son
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the exact visible, complete manifestation of the invisible, eternal God, who is fully God and fully man. Jesus came with the purpose of saving the souls of men by washing away sin, destroying all works of darkness and reconciling men to God, freeing them from the bondage of fear of death and ignorance of the afterlife. In absolute surrender and obedience to the Father, he humbled himself and willingly offered himself as a perfect substitutionary sacrifice to atone for our sins through the shameful death on the cross, so that through faith in his perfection we might receive the forgiveness of sins and the gift of righteousness and thus be reconciled to God.
We believe in God, the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son, and we believe in the person, power, office and ministry of the Holy Spirit. He represents the person and ministry of Jesus Christ on earth. He birthed the church in power at Pentecost, baptized believers into the body of Christ and imparted gifts to the church. He is actively involved in convicting sinners of sin, which leads to repentance and salvation. He makes the presence of the eternal Godhead real for us in fellowship, prayer and service. The Holy Spirit preserves the believer until the day Christ returns.
We believe in the Holy Scriptures
We believe in the Holy Scriptures as divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error. It was written by holy men of old under the supernatural influence and guidance of the Holy Spirit. It summarizes the multifaceted nature of God in his dealings with people in the various periods of time. It is the only infallible source of truth, the basis of sound doctrine and the final authority in all matters of Christian faith and life.
We believe in justification by faith
We believe that justification by grace is through faith in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ when he offered himself as a sacrifice for sin on Calvary (Romans 3:21-24). The soul that sins must die. This death is first and foremost a spiritual death and secondly a natural death. We believe that a person is saved when they accept and trust in the substitutionary sacrifice of the body and blood of Jesus. By believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth, you are saved and born again.
We believe in sanctification
We believe that all who are called by the name of Jesus Christ should turn away from unrighteousness. Redemption from the penalty of sin is a process that begins with the spiritual man. Through the sanctifying and renewing work of the Holy Spirit in mind and body, we are transformed into the likeness of Christ's character (2 Timothy 2:19). We also believe that no one will see the Lord without holiness.
We believe in water baptism
We believe that all of God's people are to be buried with our Lord Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism after their conversion (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4). Baptism is a commandment. Everyone who confesses Christ should be baptized. In baptism, our old habits, values and ways of thinking are buried like death and we are reborn as children of God in Christ.
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a power given by God after conversion to empower and equip believers for personal spiritual growth to maturity and for the work of ministry. We teach, train, develop and promote the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit in the church so that they may be effectively used in the work of ministry and care for the body of Christ (Acts 8:14-17, Acts 19:1-2, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7).
We believe in the fivefold ministry
We believe that the callings of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor (shepherd) and teacher in the body of Christ will continue to be effective until the return of the Lord. Furthermore, these ministries are designed to teach, train and equip the saints for the work of ministry so that the body of Christ may be edified and nourished, growing and maturing into the full manifestation of sonship in Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16).
We believe in the priesthood of the believer
We believe in the priesthood of believers. This means that all people who are born of God have the same status before the Lord Almighty and have direct access to him (1 Peter 2:5). You can have a relationship with God without having a human mediator. Jesus as a priest is our mediator with God. As priests, we have the responsibility to minister to those who do not have a relationship with the Lord and to fellow believers.
We believe in the unity of the church
We believe in the spiritual unity of all who are born of God. We also confess to those with whom we disagree, to those who do not confess to us, and to others whom we exclude because of our willful ignorance (1 Corinthians 12:12-14). We do not distance ourselves from other churches that profess Jesus Christ but may have different doctrines or cultural ways of worshipping the Lord.
We believe in marriage
We believe that God created marriage exclusively for the union of one man and one woman and that intimate sexual acts should take place exclusively within that union.
We believe in the sanctity of human life
We believe that every human life was created by God in his image and likeness and is therefore sacred. We are therefore called to stand up for, defend and protect all human life.
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ
We believe in the literal return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the establishment of his reign on earth, the resurrection of the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to eternal damnation and the final victory of the eternal kingdom of God (Acts 1:9-11, Daniel 12:2, Revelation 22:1-7).
Founded in the word
Laying the foundational principles, commandments and teachings of Christ is necessary for the manifestation of the Kingdom and progress according to Scripture. We must strive to understand the whole counsel of God as revealed in Scripture, recognize the purpose of His great plan, and cooperate with the Holy Spirit to see its fulfillment.
Awakening witnesses
It is not enough to be a witness or to send out witnesses, but the content, scope, validity and territory of our message must be clearly defined in order to take stock and measure the impact of our witness.
Training in discipleship
If we are to make disciples of all nations, we must first be guided and trained by the Holy Spirit, relying on the guidance of Scripture and the person of Christ as the model and ultimate standard we must strive to achieve in all things.
Equipping the saints
We train and mentor those already operating in the spiritual gifts on the one hand, and teach to equip believers with sound knowledge, protocols and operating principles of all the known gifts in the body of Christ based on Scripture on the other.
We value relationships and communicate honestly and transparently.
